Born in country NSW John Mansfield has been swinging spanners for the past 40 years.His working life started as an apprentice automative engineer rebuilding engines.His first Boss had a passion for water ski race boats and that love of boats was passed onto John.By the 70's he had decided that he wanted a career in the marine industry.A number of years passed before he found a job working for a marine engineering workshop which was located in Neutral Bay in Sydney.John worked on ships and pleasure craft up to 1500 tons. During the following years worked for a number of companies in the marine industry at Akuna Bay and Runaway Bay expanding his experience to include yachts,cruisers and outboard motors.

In 1980 John changed career direction and started teaching automotive and marine engineering at TAFE NSW firstly at  North Sydney then Brookvale and then ending up at the Grafton campus.

In 1994 an opportunity presented itself and Mansfields Marine was born and the rest is history.........

Born in country NSW Bev Mansfield is the other half of Mansfields Marine .When starting Mansfields 16 years ago Bevs energy and enthusiasm made up for her limited knowledge of the marine industry and has gone on to develop the most well stocked chandlrey on the Clarence.Even after 16 years  of resolving her clients problems , Bev still bubbles with energy and nothing seems a problem.

Born in country NSW Jason Single has been with Mansfields for 14 years now.Jason specialises  in outboard motors and his knowledge base is extensive. In an effort to keep up with technology changes Mansfields Marine sends Jason to regular training coarses run by our engine and boat suppliers.
